Terms and Conditions for Matt Colaciello's Coaching Services
Acceptance of Terms
By engaging with the coaching services offered by Matt Colaciello ("the Coach"), clients—whether individuals or organizations ("the Client")—agree to the terms and conditions outlined herein. These terms apply to all coaching services, including but not limited to life coaching, personal development, trauma recovery, executive coaching, and business coaching, as well as any mentoring or supervision services provided.
Nature of Coaching
Coaching services provided by Matt Colaciello are designed to support the Client in addressing personal and professional challenges through techniques grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, and Somatic Abolitionism. Coaching is aimed at facilitating positive change and is not a substitute for professional mental health care or medical advice.

Coaching services are not a substitute for professional mental health care or medical treatment, nor are they intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any mental health or medical conditions. The Coach is not a licensed mental health practitioner and does not provide psychotherapy or teletherapy services. This coaching practice is designed to support the personal growth and development of the Client, based on self-defined goals but is not intended to replace any psychological counseling or any other type of therapy or medical advice. If the Client is seeking diagnosis or treatment for any psychological or medical issue, they should consult a licensed healthcare professional. By engaging in this coaching service, the Client acknowledges that they understand and agree to these terms, and that any coaching services received from the Coach are not intended to be a substitute for professional counseling or medical treatment.
Confidentiality and Data Protection
The Coach commits to maintaining the confidentiality of all information shared by the Client, except as required by law or when necessary to prevent harm to the Client or others. The use of technology for coaching sessions may not be entirely secure, and the Client accepts the risks associated with the use of email, text, phone, WhatsApp, Zoom, and other communication platforms.
Waiver of Liability
The Client agrees to release the Coach from any claims related to advice given or services provided. This agreement is binding upon the Client and their heirs, executors, personal representatives, and assigns.
Coaching Sessions and Fees
Coaching sessions will be scheduled mutually and may be conducted in person or virtually, or other agreed-upon formats. The Client is responsible for initiating contact with the Coach at the agreed-upon times. Fees for sessions are due in advance, unless otherwise agreed upon, and are subject to change. The Coach will provide a recommended frequency of sessions, but the final decision rests with the Client and can be adjusted by mutual agreement.
Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Missed Session
Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so will result in a $50 fee. Refunds for unused sessions will only be given with appropriate notice. The Coach also reserves the right to rearrange sessions with equivalent notice.
Termination
The Coach reserves the right to terminate coaching services under certain conditions, such as client illness, unavailability, or inappropriate behavior. The Client will be refunded for any prepaid sessions not yet provided.
Responsibility and Outcomes
While the Coach will endeavor to support the Client in achieving their goals, the Client remains responsible for their own decisions and actions. The Coach cannot guarantee specific outcomes or improvements.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the law of Florida, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
Amendments
These terms and conditions may be amended by the Coach with reasonable notice to the Client. If the Client does not agree to the changes, they may terminate the coaching agreement with a right to a refund for prepaid but not yet provided sessions.
Feedback
The Client is encouraged to provide feedback on the coaching services to help the Coach improve the quality of service. Feedback can be given directly during sessions or in writing to the the Coach’s email.
By participating in the first coaching session, the Client agrees to these terms and conditions.
